804 Women Making History: LaDonna Lewis

LaDonna Lewis, born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, has always been passionate about serving her community. She’s a graduate of Norfolk State University where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her career began in healthcare administration and human resources at VCU Medical Center where she worked for 12 years. After purchasing her first home in 2015, she obtained her real estate license in 2017 and became a full time REALTOR here in Richmond in 2021. After losing her mother to breast cancer at the age of 10 and becoming a survivor of breast cancer at the age of 27, she became the Founder of A Pink Christmas Foundation, a local non-profit that supports women & mothers of color, along with their families, under the age of 40 that are battling breast cancer. This organization has become known from their annual event, A Pink Christmas Brunch of Love, which assists mothers battling breast cancer to provide Christmas gifts for their children.
