Winter Storm on the Second Day of the Spring Season

A Winter storm is in full effect in the Richmond metro area. Snowing is falling now and should taper off by mid-afternoon. Accumulations will be about one to three inches with higher amounts north and west, and lighter amounts to a trace south and east of the city.
