Carly Fiorina Dominates Second GOP Debate

Carly Fiorina says she’s “very satisfied” with her performance in last night’s second Republican debate for the 2016 presidential elections. She has good reason to be; whether you support her or not, the presidential hopeful impressed onlookers by dominating the first (and most important) hour of the debate by clapping back at Donald Trump for his ridiculous comments shaming her for her appearance by pointing out Trump’s history of building his empire on debt.

Fiorina also got in her strongest critiques of President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton while musing on her issues with Planned Parenthood in light of the controversial videos that were released, accusing the organization of illegally selling fetal tissue. Fiorina isn’t immune to critique however; she’s already being shut down by fact-checkers who are picking apart what’s really fact versus fiction in her statements from last night. But it’s very likely that her approval ratings will go up after putting such a strong effort to get her voice heard.

Other candidates, however, stayed spewing bullshit and putting out smoke and mirrors to entertain viewers. Donald Trump kicked off the debate by clowning yet another candidate for his looks, Rand Paul, but Trump got really quiet when the hardest, most pressing issues like foreign policy were brought to the table. Meanwhile Rick Santorum made bogus claims like comparing Kim Davis to a victim of the Columbine massacre and Jeb Bush fought to make his way into the conversation, using his brother’s legacy as an entryway for his own platform. Obama Meets With US Servicemen Who Subdued Gunman On Train To France

President Barack Obama is meeting with Spencer Stone, Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler today so Obama can express his gratitude to the young men for their courage in taking down a gunman on a train headed towards France. Stone was in the Air Force One and Skarlatos was returning from duty in Afghanistan; their friend, Sadler, a civilian, accompanied them for a vacation in Europe. There were 500 passengers aboard the train; one bullet hit a passenger and Stone injured his arm while scuffling with the perpetrator, a 26-year-old member of “the radical Islamic movement.” Thanks to the three men’s quick thinking and team work in subduing the gunman, there were no fatalities in the attack. A&E Airs “Cosby: The Women Speak” Tonight

A&E airs its special on the women who have come forward with rape allegations against infamous comedian Bill Cosby. Entitled “Cosby: The Women Speak,” the show will come on at 9 pm EST and will feature over a dozen accusers in the program. Cosby has never been charged with the crimes that he has been accused of but he has been quoted in admitting to giving women Quaaludes in the pursuit of sex. There are still are defamation and sexual assault cases in Massachusetts and California respectively that are still pending. Read more at the Variety.

#BlackLivesMatter Is A ‘Terrorist Group’ According To NC Police Chief

Former Police Chief Mike Halstead of Surf City, NC is taking a seat after posting an open letter calling the biggest Black Liberation Movement in a quarter of a century an “American terrorist group.” Halstead posted his comments on Facebook comparing police brutality victims like Michael Brown thugs and criticized Obama for not expressing greater concerns for police deaths.
