Cissy Houston Says Bobbi Kristina Off Life Support But Unresponsive

Contrary to Bobby Brown‘s recent statement on his daughter Bobbi Kristina, Cissy Houston claims Bobbi Kristina remains “unresponsive.”
According to Cissy, Bobbi Kristina continues to suffer from irreversible global brain damage.
She reportedly told TMZ, “I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive.”
So sad.
We knew this was too good to be true. We hope the Brown/Houston family can find peace.

Kelly Rowland & Brandy Lands New Shows On BET

New mom Kelly Rowland and singer/actress Brandy have both landed new shows on BET.
Kelly Rowland is launching Chasing Destiny, a reality show for aspiring vocalists. BET describes the show as “a multiplatform search for the next blazing hot singing sensation that will bring together young women with all that’s required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence.”
It sounds like an American Idol/ The Voice for women. This could be dope. Maybe Beyonce can be a mentor on the show…
Fresh off her role as Chardonnay Pitts on The Game and her starring role as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, Brandy is heading back on BET full-time for another sitcom.
The show is Zoe Moon.
According to BET, the show is ” A romantic comedy featuring Zoe Moon (Brandy Norwood), a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul – but it won’t be easy. Her ex-husband is not ready to take a back seat in her life, nor is her precocious 10 year-old son ready for her new dating life.”
We CANNOT wait for these new shows! Brandy joins fellow actresses Kerry Washington, Tracee Ellis Ross, Viola Davis, Gabrielle Union and Taraji P. Henson as sitcom stars.
We love it!

‘Being Mary Jane’ co-star Gary Dourdan Is So Broke He Has 7 People Living In His Home

We never knew he was living like this…
Gary Dourdan has been acting for over 20 years, but he still doesn’t seem to have a handle on his finances.
According to TheJasmineBrand, Dourdan claimed to owe $1.4 to creditors but only has $988K in assets. Dourdan filed for his second Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September and he has been ‘scrambling’ to get by ever since.
He filed paper on April 2nd admitting that his elderly parents, brother, sister, brother-in-law and their children are all living in his 4 bedroom home. His says his family has promised to pay $7K a month to help him with his debt.
This sounds like a hot mess. What happened to all of that CSI money?
Dourdan does have a shady past but we hope he can get his finances in order. Hopefully, he can also get another job because judging from the season finale, he’s not coming back to Being Mary Jane.
