First Black NBA Player Dies

Earl Lloyd, the first black NBA player has died at the age of 86. Lloyd a.k.a. ‘the Big Cat’ who served in the armed forces, was a CIAA All American, NBA champion, NBA’s first black Asst. Coach and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his wife and three sons.
