Mendeecees Takes The Stand: “I Didn’t Commit Those Acts To That Girl”

“Love & Hip Hop” star Mendeecees Harris took the stand in a Hackensack, NJ court to defend himself in a statutory rape/sexual abuse case involving a 15-year-old girl that allegedly took place four years ago. Mendeecees claims not only did he never commit any of the acts the victim claimed in court yesterday: like him blackmailing her with the secret of her being raped when she was 8 or for sex–but that he rarely interacted with her at all.

We’ve all been dying to know why Kris Humphries won’t give Kim Kardashian the divorce she so desperately wants, and now we have the answer! The Brooklyn Nets baller who’s been dragging his feet in the divorce of the century, despite Kimmy’s pleas to end it once and for all for the sake of her baby with Kanye just wants an annullment.

A source tells PEOPLE,

“Kris only wants an annulment,” says the source close to Humphries. “He never wanted to be married more than once and he feels like she cheated him out of the chance to have a real, loving marriage.”

“He feels that even if she’s pregnant, she still has to deal with the mess she made,” the source says. “He thinks their entire marriage was a fraud, and he’s not going to just give up because of the situation.”

Kim, who is due to deliver in early July, is asking a judge to start a divorce trial as soon as possible or at the very least to have their marriage legally dissolved while they litigate other issues.

Cissy Houston Slams Clive Davis For Inviting Her To His Annual Pre-Grammy Party

Whitney Houston’s mother Cissy Houston is not happy with Clive Davis for inviting her to his annual Grammys party, the event at which her daughter passed away last year. The singer was found dead at the age of 48 in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel hours before she was due to perform at Davis’s bash almost 12 months ago.

Cissy slammed Clive for sending her an invitation to this year’s pre-Grammys event, which is being held at the same hotel, Access Hollywood reports.

“I got an invitation to the party – which is the most obscene thing,” she said. “I don’t know why they would want me to come to the party in which she died, you know? Unheard of.”

She added:

“I guess maybe he just sent me a copy for remembrance sake.”

What about the rest of the family? Whitney’s brother Gary and sister-in-law Pat are planning to attend the party, Entertainment Tonight reports.

“You know what, we’re actually going to California to support Clive, who was such an important part of Whitney’s life,” Pat revealed. “I mean, that was her industry father and he really, really was… My husband and I – Gary and I – will definitely be there this weekend for the Grammy party to support Clive. Absolutely.”

No word as yet if Bobbi K will make an appearance.
