Petersburg’s Back To School Round-Up A Splendid Event
Thanks to the Petersburg Public Schools and all the beautiful kids who came out to the Back To School Round-Up recently at Petersburg High School. The event was originally scheduled for the final week of August but was postponed due to the effects of Hurricane Irene. School Superintendent Dr. Alvera J. Parrish says the annual event is an effort to motivate the kids AND the parents as the students begin this new school year. Thank you all for allowing me to host this event, it’s always a pleasure to return to my alma mater and spend some time with our next generation.
